Passport control in CPH airport was fairly peaceful.
Both Clarion and Comfort Hotel were fairly walkable from airport (you can go all the way to Clarion from inside and a one min walk outside to comfort hotel). For refence Comfort hotel was about 300$ per night. After checking in and washing up, we went back to airport to catch a train.
Information desk in CPH was very good. We were just a bit early for Tivoli Christmas market (something to do if we are ever here in winter again!). Train yellow line M2 is the only train at airport. Went to city center and Nyhavn (new harbor) from there walked about to Holsbro Plads though the markets were closed by the time we reached.
Didn’t have a good dinner in Nyhavn. Fell for some guy on the street who showed a large veggie menu. It ended up being 200$ for bad food and poor service !!
Mulled wine in Copenhagen is called Glogg during Christmas and it was delicious. Along all the streets we we walked, we saw a bunch of places selling it.
Woke up early and dropped off the bags while the kids were still sleeping in the hotel and came back to the room. This was a significant advantage to sleeping close to the hotel
